Paul Anders was a 23rd century Human man, notable as the inventor of the warp sled.

Biography[]

In the 2260s, Anders worked as an engineering scientist for Shuvinaaljis Warp Technologies Incorporated. While working at an orbital construction site, he returned planet-side aboard a shuttle one day and had an inspiration: miniaturized warp engines attached to shuttles would substantially reduce interplanetary travel times and expense. During a 13-month leave of absence from his normal assignments, he developed the FWMA-type microwarp engine, which entered service on reference stardate 2/1200.
