Doctor Paul Manheim was one of the greatest scientific minds of the 24th century. A Human, he was widely respected and hailed as a visionary, his area of expertise being time. (TNG episode: "We'll Always Have Paris")
Upon seeing Manheim in person for the first time on November 27, 2364, Marion Dulmur felt that he resembled the 19th and 20th century Human psychologist Sigmund Freud. (ST - Department of Temporal Investigations novel: Watching the Clock)
- Manheim's alleged resemblance to Freud is an in-joke, referring to that Rod Loomis played the psychologist in the 1989 time travel comedy film Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure.[1]
