Biography

In the year 2261, she served aboard the USS Enterprise. Upon encountering a quantum entanglement, the Enterprise encountered an alternate version of itself, though crewed by members of the opposite sex. Unable to actually meet her male counterpart face-to-face, Pavela contacted him via hails. (TOS - Parallel Lives comics: "Part 1", "Part 2")

Months later, the Enterprise was caught in a similar, but far more powerful storm, where it encountered countless versions of the Enterprise. As the quantum energy surged, Pavela was beamed off the ship and materialized on a forested planet. Exploring, she found a large, Indian-styled city before she found Simon Grayson threatening Captain James T. Kirk. Stunning the former, Pavela placed herself under Kirk's command and led him, as well as a male android version of Hikari Sulu, to the city she had discovered. (TOS - Boldly Go comic: "Issue 14")
