The Pelios system's orbit was the location of a number of worlds, including Bactrica, the homeworld of the Bactrican civilization. The Federation's Pelios Station was located in the Pelian system in the 24th century. (DS9 - The Lives of Dax short story: "The Music Between the Notes")
