Pelleus V was a Class M planet located in the Pelleus system, and was the homeworld of the Pellean race. As of 2376, the Pellean Principality had refused admission into the United Federation of Planets, although a treaty had been established which stipulated that Federation starships were not to enter Pellean space unannounced, and passage through Pellean space would only be allowed with an escort. (TNG novel: The Genesis Wave, Book One)
In 2364, the USS Enterprise-D was scheduled to make a stop at Pelleus V after departing Starbase 74, but was delayed after the starship was hijacked by a group of Bynars. (TNG episode: "11001001")
In 2376, Pelleus V became one of the many worlds to be horribly mutated by the advancing Genesis wave despite the efforts of Leah Brahms and the USS Enterprise-E to try and help the planet. (TNG novel: The Genesis Wave, Book One)
