Pentam

Pentam was a star system, located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.

History and specifics[]

The Pentam system's orbit was the location of a number of worlds, including fifth planet Pentam V, the homeworld of the Pentamian civilization. In the year 2267, Captain James T. Kirk and Commander Spock visited Pentam V to negotiate for dilithium mining rights for the Federation. After twenty-seven non-stop hours of debate with the Pentamian Assembly, they secured those rights. (TOS - Constellations short story: "Ambition")
