Star chart depicting the Perseus Arm in relation to major landmarks.

The Perseus Arm is one of the spiral arms of the Milky Way Galaxy, situated between the Cygnus Arm and the Sagittarius Arm.

History[]

In the year 2267, somewhere within the Perseus Arm, the Constitution-class USS Pathfinder repelled three attacking Klingon D7 battlecruisers with the assistance of the USS Enterprise. Shortly thereafter, the Enterprise encountered several Beings from Mount Olympus, including Zeus, Aeolus, Pan and Hermes, as well as Charybdis, Cyclops, Scylla and the Sirens from Homer's Odyssey. (TOS comic: "What Fools These Mortals Be..")

In the 2340s decade, the Miranda-class medium cruiser USS Vigilant performed a mission of long-range exploration in the Perseus Arm. The Vigilant vanished mysteriously during the mission in 2348. (Decipher RPG module: Starfleet Operations Manual)

During the Borg Invasion of 2381, the USS Aventine and USS Enterprise-E investigated a series of subspace tunnels centralized in the Azure Nebula. One of the tunnels exited the Aventine into the Delta Quadrant halfway between the Carina Arm and the Perseus Arm. (ST - Destiny novel: Mere Mortals)
