The Phantom Wing was a fleet of Klingon starships built under the orders of Kruge.

History and specifics[]

The Phantom Wing ships were built by the House of Kruge at their outpost facility on the planet Gamaral. It consisted of a dozen birds-of-prey more advanced than any in the Klingon Defense Force fleet. (ST - Prey novel: Hell's Heart)

Although the ships of Phantom Wing possessed uprated statistics in the story, their outward appearance in the cover illustrations were identical to regular Klingon bird-of-prey vessels.
