Phicus was a star system, located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, near the Federation-Cardassian border.
History and specifics[]
In the year 2374, Phicus's orbit was the location of a Federation communications relay station, one vital for tactical communications during the Dominion War. It was sabotaged by Cardassian Union forces in that year, and the USS da Vinci was dispatched to Phicus, along with the USS Appalachia and USS Sloane, to repair it. The Appalachia was destroyed in a subsequent engagement with the Cardassians in that system. (SCE - War Stories eBook: Book 2)
