Phobos

Phobos was an asteroidal planet-bound body, a class D world and innermost moon of the planet Mars, the fourth planet in the Sol star system, located in Sector 001 of the galaxy's Alpha and Beta Quadrant. (ST reference: Star Charts)

History and specifics[]

Phobos was named after the ancient Greek god Phobos. The moon is also home to the Stickney crater. (ENT - The Romulan War novel: Beneath the Raptor's Wing)

Phobos became the site of a UNSF base within 3 years after the founding of the service. (FASA RPG module: Star Fleet Intelligence Manual: Agent's Orientation Sourcebook)

FASA calls it the United Nations Space Forces while the Spaceflight Chronology calls it the United Nations Solar Fleet.

During a 2411 of the Attack on Mars by Romulan-controlled Synths on 5 April 2385, the Martian moons Phobos and Deimos were visible at a distance from the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards. (STO - House Shattered mission: "Synth Wave")
