Pillagra

Pillagra was a planet located somewhere in the space of the Milky Way's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, the location of a Bajoran colony.^[1]

History and specifics[]

The colony was one of three such Bajoran settlements established in the 23rd century. It was further from Bajor than both Gelladorn and Velat Nol. Captain James T. Kirk and the crew of the Federation Starfleet starship USS Enterprise made first contact with the Bajorans of the Pillagra colony in the year 2269 and rescued them from the attacking Ascendants. In 2319, Hawkins Young reminded Demora Sulu that Hikaru Sulu had saved the Bajoran colonists of Pillagra when he was the second officer of the USS Courageous. (ST - The Lost Era novel: One Constant Star)

During the Cardassian Occupation of Bajor, Bajorans lucky enough to escape Bajor sought refuge on Pillagra. Nelish Stoat claimed he had a friend on Pillagra. (DS9 novel: Sacraments of Fire)

In 2377, Kirk's experience at Pillagra helped the crew of Deep Space 9 identify the Ascendants. (DS9 novel: Ascendance)
