Place de la Concorde

The Place de la Concorde in the early 21st Century.

The Place de la Concorde was a public square in the city of Paris, located on the Champs-Élysées. It was the Place de la Concorde where the Traité d'Unification was signed in 2130, formally unifying the nations of Earth into the planetary state of United Earth. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation)

In the 2150s, the Prime Minister of United Earth maintained an office at the Place de la Concorde from where the Luxor Obelisk could easily be seen. (ENT novel: Beneath the Raptor's Wing)

Following the foundation of the United Federation of Planets, it became the site of the Palais de la Concorde, the seat of the Federation government. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation)

Part of the Place de la Concorde remained an open area, and was used as a ceremonial ground for public events. (SCE eBook: Progress)
