The Planetary Regiments are a military branch of the Klingon Empire's Defense Force.

The Klingon Planetary Regiments are tasked with the conquest and defense of new worlds taken by the Klingon civilization. The Klingon Empire has equipped its Planetary Regiments with a wide number of lethal armaments, including both anti-gravity vehicles and static defense emplacements. Which the regiments use to hold worlds for the empire, in addition to seizing new worlds. Resulting in Klingon colony systems having an offensive structure, with many of their units having the ability to launch direct assaults on other colonies. (ST video game: New Worlds)
