Plank Crater is a meteorite impact crater, a landmark on Luna.

History and specifics[]

The crater is 319 kilometers in diameter and located in the moon's southern hemisphere at coordinates 57.9° S latitude and 136.8° E longitude.

The crater is situated south of Mare Orientale. (Last Unicorn RPG module: Starfleet Academy "Luna Planetary Index")

The crater is a misspelling of Planck Crater and was named for German physicist Max Planck.
