The Playstation first became available in 1994, with newer versions released in subsequent years. The Playstation 2 was first released in 2000, the Playstation 3 in 2006, as well as the Playstation Portable (PSP), a hand-held console released in 2004. Star Trek games have been released on all four Playstation consles, although the Playstation 3 game, D-A-C was released as a download only.

Star Trek Nemesis was also released for the PSP on UMD (Universal Media Disc).
