The Poet was a member of the Azziz who visited Pelios Station in the 2350s decade. Described as resembling a winged bullfrog, the Poet was the Azziz who was able to verbally communicate with others outside its species. The Poet was accidentally killed aboard the station, a tragic event as it was later revealed that the Azziz ship and crew were in fact all interdependent biological units, all of which relied on the Poet to keep them in harmony.
