A polaron torpedo was a weapon introduced into the Vor'cha-class attack cruisers of the Klingon Defense Force shortly after the Dominion War.

History and specifications[]

These torpedoes were capable of piercing the shields of enemy cruisers and damage vital ship systems such as engines, weapons or life support. This added a further advantage to Klingon captains who would then take down the wounded enemy warship. (ST video games: Armada, Armada II)
