A pool table was a flat, felt-covered table on which the Human game of pool was played.

Ahota's Public House in Canyontown, Mars contained a pool table. In the year 2155, the pool table was used as a platform for speakers during a town meeting. (ENT - The Romulan War novel: Beneath the Raptor's Wing)

In 2266, Leonard McCoy joked that what lay underneath Saeena's tomb on Mila Xa was a basement with oil heater, hot water tank, pool table and dartboard. (TOS comic: "The Haunted Asteroid")
