Praetor class

The Praetor-class (also known as the H4-class) was a type of small spaceship vehicle in use by the Romulan Star Empire in the 23rd century.

The class had a basic modification as a warpshuttle, and also an uprated variant equipped as a scout starship. (FASA RPG module: Romulan Ship Recognition Manual; ST video game: Legacy)

In the 2270s or 2280s, a type-2 Praetor-class warpshuttle captured by Starfleet in the Triangle was assigned by Starfleet Intelligence to Operation Kingmaker for covert use along the Federation/Gorn/Romulan border. (FASA RPG module: Operation Kingmaker)

Background[]

While introduced as a warpshuttle in the FASA Corporation's RPG sources, this ship was shown with slightly different hull modifications as a full-scale scout starship in the Legacy gameplay.
