Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

Prakal II was a planet located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, the second planet in orbit of the Prakal star system.

History and specifics[]

By the mid-to-late 24th century, this world was within or near the borders of the United Federation of Planets and was inhabited.

At some point in or prior to the 2360s decade, Guinan visited Prakal II. In the year 2367, she told that during her visit she heard about a drink, a green beverage with ingredients consisting of Saurian brandy, targ milk, and Denevian mead. (TNG episode: "In Theory")

This planet was only mentioned in dialogue in canon.

A sailing ship from Prakal II became trapped in an Iconian gateway in the year 2376 and found itself on the oceans of Balosnee VI, a world the Prakal II ship's captain and passengers had never heard of. The captain was initially optimistic to be sailing on a sea, albeit unfamiliar. The situation degraded as the ship was tossed against rocks, which then disappeared. The hypnotic tides of Balosnee VI claimed the sinking ship. (TNG - Gateways novel: Doors Into Chaos)
