Praxus

Praxus was a Romulan alive in the 23rd century.

Biography

By the mid-2260s decade, Praxus was serving as an officer in the Romulan Star Navy.

By the year 2266, he had been assigned to the Vas Hatham-class bird-of-prey ChR Gal Gath'thong. He was the officer responsible for monitoring the ship's scanning device and making observations regarding anything the ship came in contact with. When the Praetor of the Romulan Star Empire took Commander Keras on a tour of the Gal Gath'thong in preparation of Keras taking command of the ship, Praxus encountered them both in the shuttlebay. He was later killed in the line of duty when his vessel, after taking heavy damage from the Federation Starfleet starship USS Enterprise, was self-destructed under Keras's orders. This officer was not given a name onscreen; the name comes from the comic book adaptation of "Balance of Terror" by John Byrne. He was played by actor Robert Chadwick.
