The Predator-class was a 24th century type of carrier originally built by the Trabe and later commandeered by the Kazon after their rebellion. (VOY episode: "Alliances")

Service history and specifications[]

The Federation first encountered Predator-class ships during first contact with the Kazon Collective in the year 2371. (VOY episode & novelization: Caretaker)

In 2372 the Nistrim had at least three Predator-class warships at their disposal which their leader Jal Culluh used to conquer the USS Voyager for a while until a Talaxian fleet helped the Federation crew to take their ship back. (VOY episode: "Basics")

In the year 2381, the rogue artificial intelligence Badgey trapped USS Cerritos officers and visitors in the starship's holodeck. In one simulation, Badgey recreated the Caretaker scenario, this time with the Cerritos being taken into the Delta Quadrant. After the Caretaker passed, Ocampans activated the beam and returned the ship to Federation space, with one Predator-class vessel being caught in the beam. The holographic vessel ignored hails and armed weapons, intent on attacking the Cerritos, and was destroyed during the engagement. (LD video game: The Badgey Directive episode: Tendi The Caretaker")

In 2410, Sessen, the First Maje of the Kazon-Nistrim, commanded his sect from the appropriately named carrier First Maje of the Kazon-Nistrim. (STO - Delta Quadrant mission: "Alliances")
