Prexnak is a red giant star located in the space of the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant, near the borders of the Ferengi Alliance and situated in the general vicinity of Lytasia and Theta Pegasi. (ST reference: Star Charts)

History and specifics[]

This was the site of the Battle of Prexnak. (DS9 episode: "The Magnificent Ferengi")

In 2386, Historian Geoffrey Mandel included Prexnak in his star chart Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385. (ST reference: Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library)
