Primus IV was a planet located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, the fourth planet in orbit of the Primus star system, near the expansion of late 24th century Federation space.
Early in the year 2376, the USS Enterprise-E was assigned to perform a low-gravity science study on the planet, with the aid of Lieutenant Melora Pazlar, a native of another low-gravity planet. Unfortunately, before the survey could begin, the Enterprise was drawn to Pazlar's homeworld, Gemworld, to assist in an ecological disaster. By the 2370s, Primus IV was a holding of the Romulan Star Empire, and was considered a friendly port of call by the Romulan Imperial Fleet. (ST video game: Starfleet Command III)
