Proceedings of the Vulcan Science Academy was a 23rd century academic journal published by the Vulcan Science Academy which included scientific research articles for peer review.
Volume 7295 of the journal was published on stardate 8939.0. On pages 665-672, authors T'pask, Sivek, B'tk'r, and K't'lk wrote an article called "An elective-mass inversion apparatus", which was developed into an inversion drive in the 2270s. (TOS novel: The Wounded Sky)
