For other uses, see Prometheus.

Prometheus was a material option, a Khitomer Alliance designation for the visual appearance of a spacecraft's outer hull, i.e. a vessel's "skin". Prometheus was available for advanced escort classes of the Federation and its Starfleet service branch. Prometheus put the ship in a light grey cover accented with deflector grids. The warp plasma in the nacelles appeared bright blue, bleeding into white. Similarly, the bussard collectors shone red, brightening to white. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")
