History[]

On stardate 56494 (June 30, 2379), Voyager was docked at Proxima Station. On that date, Vice Admiral Kathryn Janeway and her aide, Ensign Decan were on the station after concluding a diplomatic assignment. Janeway met with Captain Chakotay of Voyager for dinner. It was then when they admitted their feelings for each other and resolved to meet in Venice on Earth following the conclusion of Voyager's deep-space mission. (VOY novel: Full Circle)
