History and specifics
Pursuit 3 was painted red and armed with four phaser cannons, two on the roof of the craft and two attached to the forward hull. It had three rear engines and three atmospheric stabilizer fins.
In 2266, Pursuit 3 landed to assist Space Rescue Bug 5 in rescuing captives from a disabled Agonite space eagle, while Pursuit 4 and Pursuit 7 provided cover fire. (TOS comic: "The Eagles Have Landed")
