Q was a member of the Q Continuum.

The script for the episode referred to him as "Q2" and that name is used as this article's title for the purpose of disambiguation. It was not used in dialogue.

Biography[]

In 2366, this Q restored Q's powers after he attempted to sacrifice himself to the Calamarain rather than allow them to destroy the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG episode: "Deja Q")

Later that year, this Q prevented Q from removing the powers he had shared with Lwaxana Troi so she could humiliate Q as he had humiliated her. (TNG novel: Q-in-Law)

During the God War of 2379, this Q intervened alongside Amanda Rogers to soothe over diplomatic relations with the Prophets and warned Q of the Continuum's waning patience with the war. When he felt Q was unravelling, this Q reappeared again and convinced Q to agree to a peace treaty with the Organians and Metrons. (ST - The Q Conflict comics: "Issue 4", "Issue 5", "Issue 6")
