Quark's Bar, Grill, Embassy, Gaming House and Holosuite Arcade (a wholly owned subsidiary of Quark Enterprises, Inc.) was an establishment owned by the Ferengi Quark on the Promenade of Deep Space 9 with the cooperation of the government of the Ferengi Alliance.

Quark's bar was open 26 hours a day (Bajoran days are 26 hour days and DS9 ran on Bajor time) and was one of the major social locations on DS9 with food and drink, including a buffet, gambling and holosuites. (DS9 novel: Devil in the Sky, et al.)
Quark's sold twenty-four varieties of Hasperat. (DS9 - Avatar novel: Book One)
In April 2376, Quark attempted to sell a drink he called Fa'ntar, which was actually a concoction made from rotting fruit he was trying to get rid of. (DS9 - Avatar novel: Book One)
History[]
Quark first opened his bar in the early 2360s, when the station was under Cardassian control and was known as Terok Nor.
Quark was prepared to leave the Bajoran sector after the Cardassian withdrawal in 2369, but was convinced to keep his bar open by the station's new Federation commander, Benjamin Sisko. (DS9 episode: "Emissary")
In April 2376, Ro Laren fell from the stairs in Quark's, fortunately Quark was there to take her to the Infirmary. Not long after there was some commotion in Quark's when the Jem'Hadar Kitana'klan unshrouded and introduced himself there. (DS9 - Avatar novel: Book One)
Following Bajor's admission into the Federation later in 2376, Ferengi Grand Nagus (and Quark's brother) Rom designated Quark's the Ferenginar Embassy to Bajor, thereby legally making the establishment Ferengi territory, and allowing Quark to continue his non-Federation economic business practices. (DS9 novel: Unity)
Quark's first served its function as embassy when Chek, owner of industry giant Chek Pharmaceuticals, contacted Quark needing facilities for a meeting of Ferengi businessmen. (DS9 novel: Ferenginar: Satisfaction is Not Guaranteed)
The Bar and Grill was lost during the Destruction of Deep Space 9. Quark continued his business on Bajor at Aljuli in Wintara Mas, then opened a new establishment on the new station upon its completion. (DS9 novels: Plagues of Night, Raise the Dawn, Revelation and Dust)

Alternate timelines[]
In an alternate timeline in which the Cardassian Union did not withdraw from Bajor in 2369, Rom bought the bar from Quark prior to 2373. His brother was able to achieve his long held ambition of buying a moon as he had been off by the Detapa Council to keep both the discovery of the Bajoran wormhole and the existence of the Dominion a secret. (TNG - Myriad Universes novel: A Gutted World)
