- For the mirror universe counterpart, see Talvath class (mirror).
In the 29th century, the R'Mor-class was a Romulan temporal science vessel. In 2409, the Tholian Assembly utilized multi-dimensional phasing technology to penetrate the borders of spatial dimensions and the space-time continuum itself, allowing for the retrieval of future starships. This enabled the Lobi Crystal Consortium to sell R'Mor-class timeships to the Romulan Republic. (STO official website: Legacy of Romulus Dev Blog #35)
History and specifications[]
The R'Mor-class of ships was in service in the 29th century. The science vessel had a crew of 250 officers and was equipped with a Tipler cylinder, capable of rewinding time thirteen seconds. Compared to its mirror universe counterpart, the Talvath-class temporal destroyer, the R'Mor-class was less combat oriented. It was identical in performance to the Starfleet Wells-class timeship.
Unlike Romulan warbirds, the R'Mor-class was not equipped with a cloaking device, and was powered by a matter/antimatter reactor rather than the more usual confined quantum singularity. (ST video game: Star Trek Online)
