R. Hardigan was a 23rd century Human, an enlisted Starfleet engineering crewperson in the 2270s or 2280s decade.

Biography[]

Hardigan was born on reference stardate 1/95.

While on shore leave, Hardigan struck an officer. Court martial proceedings were avoided thanks to Captain Ian Vellacora, and Hardigan felt he owed the captain the debt. Hardigan loyally signed on as an engineer aboard Vellacora's ship, the Federation starship USS Arkadelphia, hoping to find a way to repay the debt. Hardigan ranked highly in strength and endurance among lower decks personnel.

On stardate 2/18, during the ship's mission to the border of the Asparax Confederation, Vellacora came to believe that a Federation invasion was imminent and diverted the ship toward a suicidal confrontation with Klingon forces. At the beginning of the emergency, Hardigan was on duty. (FASA RPG module: Decision at Midnight)

Background[]

In the game statistics, Hardigan was given a 80% loyalty rating, making it unlikely that a die roll would side Hardigan with mutineers and assist them in relieving Captain Vellacora of command.
