The RIS Eqqus was a 23rd century Romulan Star Empire starship, a Snipe-class frigate in Romulan Star Empire service in the 2280s. While the Eqqus was initially outfitted as a type-A frigate (SNA), it was easily modifiable into a rear-fire frigate (SNAR), battle frigate (SNB), police frigate (SNP) or an advanced police frigate (SNP+). - No history or fate is established for this vessel as its name was randomly selected for a frigate vessel by the game software. The specific type of frigate was also dependent on random factors in parts of the game.
- As most of the ships in the Snipe-class are named for constellations or animals in Latin, 'Eqqus' is probably a typo for 'Equus', or 'horse'.
