RRW Baratan was a 25th century Romulan starship, the Baratan-class command battlecruiser warbird prototype in Romulan Republic service in the early 25th century. History[]
The RRW Baratan was constructed at, and launched from, the New Romulus Shipyards during the Khitomer Alliance expansion into the Delta Quadrant under Operation Delta Rising. It was one of three prototypes for new tier 6 command battlecruiser warbird classes, alongside the Vastam-class RRW Vastam and the Deihu-class RRW Deihu. All three were part of the Allied series of command battlecruiser classes, for a total of nine new Allied ship classes. (STO website: Delta Rising: Tier 6 Command Ships - Romulan)
