Rackham was a 24th century Human man, a career officer in the Federation's Starfleet.
Biography[]
Rackham's specialty in the 2370s decade was as a starship commanding officer, and by the year 2373, he had achieved the rank of captain, in command of the Federation starship USS Stargazer-A. In that year, Stargazer joined a small fleet of Federation and Klingon vessels entering the Gamma Quadrant as a result of a Dominion assault on planet Xox and space station Deep Space 9.
