Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

Rakal was a Cardassian world in the Rakal system. The planet was orbited by four moons.

The Cardassian military maintained a base on Rakal's fourth moon. In 2372, Kira Nerys suggested that the Klingon bird-of-prey that had attacked Korma might go to Rakal next and attack the base. Skrain Dukat knew that the base was subterranean and too fortified to be a viable target for the bird-of-prey and that it would take a Vor'cha-class cruiser to do any damage to the Rakal base. (DS9 episode: "Return to Grace")

Rakal might be the origin of Rakalian p'losie.
