Rake was a 23rd century Lyran Star Empire starship, a Cheetah-class frigate in Lyran fleet service in the 2280s and/or 2290s decades.
Service history and disposition[]
The Rake was initially equipped as the standard Lyran frigate (FF). (ST video games: Starfleet Command, Starfleet Command II: Empires at War)
When the Lyran civilization's politics resulted in the Lyran Empire being supplanted by the Lyran Democratic Republic, Rake was re-registered as an LDR vessel, with the new frigate type designation DFF. Rake also had the capability to be refit as an LDR advanced frigate (DFF+). (ST video game: Starfleet Command: Orion Pirates)
