Rakon was a star system located somewhere in the galaxy's Alpha and Beta Quadrants.

History and specifics[]

Tandar Prime and Rakon IV were two of the planets in the system.

In the year 2382, the Rakon system was the site of a major temporal disturbance as forces in the Temporal Cold War fought on a moon of Rakon IV. (DTI novel: Watching the Clock)

Christopher L. Bennett intended the Rakon system to be the origin of the Rakonian swamp rat from DS9: "Hippocratic Oath".
