For other uses, see Randall.

Randall Bird was a Human male who served in the Federation Starfleet in the 23rd century.

In the year 2279, he served as a security officer aboard the Federation starship USS Gagarin, with the rank of ensign. Bird was among the crewmembers taken prisoner by the Klingons in that year after the ship's destruction, and brought to the prison facility on planet Pao'la. He died in 2281 of a virulent flu strain for which the prison commander at the time, K'zeq, refused to authorize proper treatment. (TOS novel: In the Name of Honor)
