Rarn was a Trill Symbiont joined to a male host in the late-24th century.
In late 2376, on stardate 53777.5, Doctor Rarn unwisely transported from the Trill Symbiosis Commission to Manev Central Hospital following the detonation of a neurogenic radiation bomb by neo-Purist terrorists. He was one of the few joined Trill who could not easily tolerate the transport process. Luckily, Doctor Julian Bashir was at the hospital and, along with medical technician Jenk, treated his neural shock with drenoctazine.
