Ratatouille is a food preparation originating from the Human civilization of the planet Earth in sector 001 of the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant.

History and specifics[]

Ratatouille was a sort of chunky vegetable stew, usually made with eggplant, zucchini, bell peppers, and tomatoes. (TOS reference: Mr. Scott's Guide to the Enterprise)

The Caeliar menu consisted mostly of ratatouille recipes. While living in Axion in the year 1574, Erika Hernandez eventually developed a way to make a bread-like agent so she could have some dietary variety from their ratatouille variant. (ST - Destiny novel: Mere Mortals)

Ratatouille was one of many dishes prepared in the food processor units aboard the 23rd century Federation starship USS Enterprise after its refit in the 2270s decade. (ST reference: Mr Scott's Guide to the Enterprise)
