Rawitzer was a 23rd century Starfleet crewperson serving as a transporter technician aboard the USS Constitution in the late 2250s.

In 2257, Rawitzer was on duty in the Constitution's transporter room throughout the starship's mission at Sordinia IV. Rawitzer had to perform a couple of tricky transports during this mission, including the unsuccessful attempt to beam Lieutenant Darick Lynch and two security officers off of a N'shaii satellite before the mothership destroyed it; and the successful transport of Lieutenant Jack Gaynor and his boarding party to and from the mothership on their mission to sabotage its link to the network. (TOS - My Brother's Keeper novel: Constitution)
