Rebecca N. Desjardin was a 23rd century Human woman, a mechanical engineer who served as a field equipment technician for Starfleet Intelligence at Starbase 13 in the 2280s decade.
Biography[]
Desjardin was an authority on computer operations, with mechanical engineering expertise focused on electronics and life support technology. She also achieved qualifications in instruction and Intelligence procedures, and gained professional-level knowledge of chemistry and physics.
Desjardin began her Intelligence service work during her cadet cruise with Sector 2 support services in the early 2270s, during which she earned high honors. Following her graduation from Starfleet Academy she served in technical support services with the Orion Activities Unit for a year and then two years with support services in the Klingon Activities Unit.
In the mid-2270s, she accepted a post at Starfeet Academy as a mechanical engineering instructor. Near the turn of the 2280s, she began a four year stint in SI Administration, then returned to support services in the Klingon Activities Unit.
By the year 2287, her fourth year based out of Starbase 13, Desjardin had been promoted to the rank of captain in the Plans and Policies Division, Office of Planning and Research for Starfleet Intelligence Command, and had earned a security clearance (SECLAR) of 6.
