Rebecca Sisko was a Human female who lived in the 24th century.

Biography[]

She was the second wife of Joseph Sisko and the mother of Judith Sisko and two sons. She was also the stepmother of Benjamin Sisko although she raised him as her own son. Benjamin was never told the truth about his biological mother Sarah Sisko, although both he and Rebecca knew nothing would change his love for her. (DS9 episode: "Image in the Sand")

Rebecca was still alive in the 2350s when Benjamin was attending Starfleet Academy. (DS9 episode: "Explorers") She had died by 2372. (DS9 episode: "Homefront")

Rebecca liked to tell her son tales from mythology, like the stories of the Valkyries. (DS9 short story: "Living on the Edge of Existence")

In 2376, Kasidy Yates decided to name her child Rebecca Jae Sisko after her husband's stepmother and Jae Yates, her own mother. (DS9 novel: Unity)
