Reclaw was a Klingon emperor and the last of the Klingon Second Dynasty.
During K'Trelan's coup, Emperor Reclaw was assassinated by K'Trelan. Following the end of the Dark Time, a Klingon woman was given the name of Shenara, Reclaw's deceased daughter, to hide the fact that the Klingon Imperial Family of the Second Dynasty had ended. He and his seven companions have life-sized statues in the Emperor of the Klingon Empire's palace on Qo'noS. (DS9 - The Left Hand of Destiny novel: Book One)
Some of Reclaw's victories are memorialized in song. Reclaw defeated the twelve sons of Ch'Tan, with the last to be beaten was the Lord of the Dead. In 2376, Martok's name was substituted for that of Reclaw by the crew of the IKS Negh'Var. (DS9 - The Left Hand of Destiny novel: Book One)
