Commander Regina Campisi was a Human woman serving in the Federation Starfleet in the 24th century.

History[]

At Starfleet Academy in the 2350s, Campisi was a classmate of William T. Riker, future first officer of the Federation starship USS Enterprise-D. While at the Academy, she at some point was assigned to share quarters with Riker, which at the time he attributed to computer error, but later in life found himself wondering if that was actually the case.

In the year 2357, Campisi graduated second in their class, while Riker came in eighth.

By 2371, before stardate 48319.4, Campisi had been promoted to the rank of Commander and was working as a special investigator for Starfleet Command. That year, she was assigned to investigate the murders of three former chief engineers of the Enterprise, an investigation which eventually led her to the planet Zorta. There, she herself became the killer's next victim, who then had herself surgically altered and took on Campisi's identity in order to murder the Enterprise's current chief engineer, Lieutenant Commander Geordi La Forge. (TNG comic: "Suspect")
