The Registrar was a mythological figure in Ferengi religious beliefs.
Ferengi believe that the Registrar welcomes them to the Divine Treasury after they die and, when bribed, the Registrar admits them to the afterlife. (DS9 episode: "Body Parts", ST reference: Celebrations)
