Regulus sector

The Regulus sector was a region of space, a sector located in the galaxy's Beta Quadrant named for the Regulus star system. It was part of Federation stellar cartography in the 23rd century. (TOS novel: Ex Machina)

History and specifics[]

LA8-Starbase-22 — Starbase 22 in the 2280s.

Federation Starfleet maintained the space station Starbase 22 in the Regulus sector in the 2270s. Following the V'Ger mission in the year 2273, the starship USS Enterprise docked at Starbase 22 to finalize repairs and finish its shakedown cruise.

Governess Natira requested Federation aid on Lorina in the Daran star system, which Captain James T. Kirk agreed to lend. Chief Marcella DiFalco consulted Lieutenant Pavel Chekov on plotting the course from the Regulus sector to the Daran system in the Lower Sco-Cen Cluster in order to avoid straying close the Federation border with the Klingon Empire. Alternate timelines[]

In the year 2381 of the First Splinter timeline, the Verity, a transport ship, appeared in the Regulus sector after being transported uptime by a kerr loop. (DTI novel: Watching the Clock)
