For other uses, see Revanche.

The Revanche party was a Cardassian political party in the Cardassian Union government.

Biography[]

In the year 2370, the party's main rival was the Dja Bajora Karass. (DS9 novel: Valhalla)

The Revanche party gained power later that year. After the Revanche party took over, 114 people associated with the previous administration were convicted of treason, and 83 were executed. Records stated that the guilty parties all confessed to being paid off by the Bajorans and the Federation in return for turning over Terok Nor and access to the Bajoran wormhole, even though it wasn't true.

After the incident with Marak, and the loss of the Swift Striker, the Revanche party was discredited and the former Cardassian government came back to power. (DS9 novel: Betrayal)
