In an alternate reality, the Revelation class was 25th century Aetherian starship type, a mid-size vessel class in Aetherian Concordium service in the 2410s decade. In the year 2411, the Aetherians shared this design the Khitomer Alliance of the primary universe, who operated it as a tier 6-rated intel science vessel. As a result, the Aetherians were involved in a multiversal conflict with the mirror Borg. In 2411, this conflict brought them into the primary universe and into a fledgling alliance with the Khitomer Alliance. The Aetherians provided the Khitomer Alliance with upgrades to combat the Borg in advance of an incursion into fluidic space. Following the destruction of Unimatrix 7400, the Harmony remained inside a pocket of normal space in the sector previously occupied by the unimatrix in fluidic space. Typically for Khitomer Alliance starships of this time period, a Revelation-class vessel was equipped with Aetherian proton beam arrays and hypermass torpedo launchers. It was equipped with a impulse engines, warp core and quantum slipstream drive, enabling it to reach impulse, warp, transwarp and quantum slipstream velocities. Cloaking was not an innate ability but various mechanisms could be installed to serve as a cloaking device. The hull included detached components and was modular enough to be modified at shipyards operated by New Romulus Shipyards, Klingon Defense Force Order of Builders and Starfleet Shipyards Operations at Alliance facilities across the Milky Way Galaxy. Specifically, a ship of the class included three forward weapon mounts and three aft. Bridge officer stations allowed for a lieutenant-ranked tactical officer, a lieutenant commander of engineering, a science officer ensign, a commander pulling double duty as a science and intelligence officer and a lieutenant commander doubling as miracle worker and an officer of any other department. As an intel starship, it included the gather intel mechanic. As an Alliance science vessel, the Revelation-class was equipped with a secondary deflector and capable of targeting subsystems of enemy vessels. A battle-hardened ship benefitted from enhanced particle generators, advanced shield systems, enhanced restorative circuitry, reactive shield technology and unity shielding. The Revelation was the first Khitomer Alliance ship equipped with the fractal redirection matrix. This Aetherian technology remained mysterious to the Alliance and caused a cross-latticed network of energy relays that redirected energy forcefully at a hostile target.
